With more then 25 years experience shaping over 18 000 boards, and a range of surfboard titles behind him, Dale Chapman has more than the necessary experience behind him to make his boards excel where other boards do not. Incorporating both traditional design, and computer design into boards ensures that the boards are both consistent, and conventional. Recent changes in how a surfboard is manufactured through profile machines have enabled boards to be cut more quickly and accurately. Although the process in shaping a board has changed, the desired result has not; to create a board which performs to it's utmost potential.
As well as producing stock boards for different clients, e.g. City Beach/Jacks Surfboards, we also shape custom orders to your specifications. Expert advice by Dale ensures that your custom order will perform to your ability based on your height, weight, and surfing experience.
Our very qualified shapers are also able to shape boards for retail companies under your own label. Having our Tekcel profile/routing machine, and glassing company within the same factory ensures efficient production if you wish to have your whole board manufactured here. Your board also will receive none of the damaged incurred when travelling between factories for the varies stages of manufacturing.
